Georgia State University & Georgia Institute of Technology are hosting the April 2009 Regional Seminar on Program Funding & Grants Administration on behalf of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Extramural Research.  The regional seminar is intended to help demystify the application and review process, clarify federal regulations and policies, and highlight current areas of special interest or concern.

The seminar serves the NIH mission of providing education and training for the next generation of biomedical and behavioral scientists.  NIH policy officials, grants management and program staff, as well as representatives from the Office for Human Research Protections and the Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare, will interact with the seminar participants and provide a broad array of expertise.  The sessions are appropriate for grants administrators, new and experienced researchers, and graduate students.

NEW eRA Commons Workshop has been added! This new session will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Atlanta Georgia on April 14 from 1PM to 4:30PM (EDT). We are very excited to be able to offer this extended opportunity to everyone!

Registration is now closed. Please register on-line.

New information will be posted to this site as it becomes available.

Please contact either Princeanna Walker or Michelle Powell if you have any questions.

This seminar has not been funded in whole or in part with Federal funds from the National Institutes of Health.
