We ended FY09 with $483,196,409 in award dollars (New Funds $). In FY08, it was $444,700,343 which means an increase of $38.5 million. That is an increase of almost 8%. Interestingly, the number of awards was slightly down 2,576 versus 2,590 in FY08.
New Provisional F&A Rates
The FY 2010 Facilities & Administrative (F&A), Fringe Benefits and Graduate Student Tuition Remission (GSTRP) rates have been approved provisionally by the Office of Naval Research. The provisional rates are pending audit by the Defense Contract Audit Agency and are subject to change. The rates can be viewed here.
The ARRA bill was signed into law on February 17, 2009 and the various federal agencies are trying to implement it.
